Hello

I have no idea why SCT no longer will disable PATS for customers upon request. They use to, as they did with mine. If you got a custom tune for your car, then the tuner can disable PATS for you in the tune file. Contact the person who did your tune. Let them know your PATS is causing issues, which in cases like mine, resulted in a no start due to the failure of transceiver in the steering column.

I don't understand what you mean by you just downloaded my tune? I never posted my tune file, plus they are VIN locked. You can't share tune files in SCT devices. Not to mention you probably have a different PCM depending upon year and whether it's manual or auto. FYI: The 4 digit alphanumeric code is on your door jamb or on the PCM itself inside the kickpanel.

My bad. You are correct. After looking at it again, I did post up a link. This is an pretty old thread and I had simply forgot.

However, the file I posted is specifically for a CHH3 PCM.

There should be a sticker that has a 4 digit alphanumeric code in the passenger door jamb. That is your PCM identifier. They are not all the same, depending on the factors I mentioned earlier.

If you have manual (5 speed), a custom tune for a automatic will not be compatible.

Again, if you have a custom tune, contact the tuner (tech support) and tell them about your PATS issues that occurred after you installed it. They should be able to help you. If not, I would uninstall the custom tune and demand a refund.
