Default PMS tuners

I have a 94 Cobra 347w/ Vortec. Stock computer with a custom burnned chip. I had a PMS on it and was scared I was going to fry something. Does anyone have any advice on whether I should put it back on or try something else? Does anybody know anybody close to Panama City that tunes cars using the PMS? I am not going to keep having to pay these guys here 800 bucks to dyno my car anymore and it still runs like shit. Thanks in advance for any help.

PMS is similar to tweecer. It is a very very elaborate tuning software. You can tune individual cylinders with PMS. I would absolutely not use that in tandem with a piggy back chip.

You can find PMS tuners, but they will not be cheap or have a quick turn around. Give Anderson Ford Motorsports a call about PMS. They might be able to help you out or point you to someone in your area.

Unless this is a race car or something you are using to try to make money, I would just get a chip and let it go. PMS tuning is complex and dyno time is going to be expensive. You have to have a good understanding of how Ford tunes the car before you can even get started.

If you car is not running good then you may have problems outside of a bad tune to consider. You need to find a tuner that has a lot of experience tuning blower cars.

RWTD is a very good tunner. idk if he works with the pms system though... i also agree with tim though do you really need a system that complex? also we will have are dyno operational hopefully here soon and we will be able to tune it.. but i dont know about the pms system..

thanks fellows. This month is going to be hard to do anything anyway. I am going to be busy working out of town and my kids b-day is this month and mine too. Maybe I will get some bigger injectors and a boost-a-pump and get it tuned and see what happens.
